Yellow Arch Presents is a monthly gig series running on the last Wednesday and Thursday of every month, starting in March. After the last two years we’ve all had, we want to give exciting, up-and-coming artists a platform to be heard, and create a scene for them – and the people that want to hear them. There are opportunities for live acts of any genre and style, we just love great music. Each event will be curated by genre to ensure acts compliment each other.
30th June: Pagodas + Pancho Grande + Jennels
Indie/alternative band consisting of songwriter Bryn Vincent, bassist Zoe Penny and drummer Rhys Graham. Combining Elliott Smith-esque chord progressions, dreamy harmonies, and intriguing lyrics, the band dabble in a variety of genres from post-punk to grunge to folk, without compromising on the hooks. A growing presence in their adopted home of Sheffield, Pagodas are exciting new arrivals on the scene.
A slop rock trio from up north. “Have you heard Deep Purple? We’re like them but we suck.”
Jennels are a band from Sheffield playing self composed music. You may like them. They are quite nice.
Tickets are £5 advance and more on the door
