Saturday the second of March, we’ve teamed up with @jarreduphq to invite the rainy city’s very own, Wax Head, A monsoon of deeply rooted garage psychedelia. Fresh faced fuzzy punk rocker goodness! If Ty Segal and The Black Angles bumped uglies on picadilly gardens, while a pigeon stole your ciggy, and a guy asked for change… this band would be the love child. Its only a fiver, which is a very northern British price for a gig
Support from The Dead Medicine Band
The Dead Medicine Band is a Manchester-based trio that plays lo-fi proto-doom garage music. Their sound is a melting pot of different influences, including eerie guitars, haunting vocals, and flavors of early Pentagram, Sir Lord Baltimore, Sainte Anthony’s Fyre, Candlemass, Trouble, and other doomy pioneers. They blend all these elements in a wizard’s cauldron, adding a pinch of LSD, a dash of Electro Harmonix, Flared Levi denim, paisley silk, strands of Buddy Guy’s afro, and a bit of weed to create a unique sound. If your dad has good taste in music, he would surely love this band.
