MN X Quench: re:ni B2B Laksa

Magnetic North collaborates with Quench to give you 3 extended back to back hours of re:lax.

re:ni (NTS Radio) has been sending shock-w a v e s through the scene over the past year with her bass infused, UK techno sound. Her recent set at Dekmantel with Darwin left us with our gun fingers high and minds blown. With an inheritance of junglist rhythms, deep breaks and high skill on both CDJ or wax- we can’t wait to be blown away once again. Laksa (Timedance / Ilian Tape / Whities) has provided us with some percy releases over the past few years- his unique concoction of techno, electro, bass and breaks means that his tunes always go off in the dance. An experienced DJ too- we are really excited to see what he gives us during the set… some unreleased lax would be flames. Together, they host a NTS Radio show- re:lax and back to back create a foolproof blend of rave utopia.

Alex- head honcho of Sheffield’s cardinal techno and underground dance music night GROUNDWORK, Al is more than worthy of the supporting set. Born and bred in the steel city but currently living in London, it’s gonna be great to have him back for another intelligent, creative and forward thinking hour of music.

Opening up the night we have the Quench boss Q- Gabe and counter-part SID to set the tone in the warehouse with Magnetic North residents Baron Samedi (Adam Stevenson) and Porter Brook to close.

For the night, we are using the warehouse space of Yellow Arch Studios; one of our favorite spots in the city! We are gonna have the premium FTF sound system installed and are also getting Alex Noble in to do some special visuals on the night.

A year on from our first party at the Harley… both ourselves and Quench are very proud to be putting this on, grab a tix, come down and we’ll see you at the front.
