Dubshack: 10th Anniversary

10 years of dubwise sessions inna Sheffield city.

KEBRA ETHIOPIA

SOUTH AFRICA TO THE UK

A very special announcement for the 10th anniversary of Dub Shack. We are honoured to welcome Kebra Ethiopia Sound System to Sheffield, travelling from Kwa-Thema, South Africa for their first sound system sessions in the UK!

Founded by Lekentle Mohlala, aka Doc Inity, Kebra Ethiopia have spent over two decades building a movement deeply rooted in roots reggae, Rastafari culture and African identity. More than just a sound system, their work uses reggae as a vehicle for community upliftment, Pan-African teachings and social consciousness. From their celebrated community gatherings in the township of Johannesburg to international festival stages, Kebra Ethiopia carry a powerful message of roots, culture and unity. Expect heavyweight, deep and conscious selections across their 3 hour set.

This special occasion brings us back to where Dub Shack begun, Yellow Arch Studios.

Inviting our original resident sound system crew, Steel Rocker Sound System (fka Chief Pukka) to power the session and select alongside @guidance.sound in support.

Tickets are limited for this session and we highly anticipate this will sell out in advance. Please secure your ticket as soon as possible to secure your spot in the dance.

Love to all who have supported us over the past decade.

This one will be very special
