With festival season over and winter soon approaching, here at Yellow Arch we’ve not let that dampen our spirits! The time has arrived to celebrate our 20th Birthday, and now we’re in the mood to party. Expect to see beer festivals, Big Band nights, masses of raves and live music across the month.

Join us for our first Yellow Arch Beer Festival, where we’ll be inviting some of our favourite breweries to showcase their tastiest beers, accompanied with delicious street food and top drawer live music! All welcome throughout the day.

Yellow Arch 20th Birthday Launch Party
Since 1997, Yellow Arch Studios has proudly been a part of the Sheffield music scene and to celebrate turning the ripe old age of 20, we’re doing what we know best… throwing some BIG parties to say thank you to everyone who has been a part our journey so far! To launch our 20th anniversary weekender we’ll be inviting a bunch of great Sheffield bands and DJs for a good ol’ fashioned knees up!
The first band who will be joining us are the Forefathers– a high energy Afro-Funk outfit from Sheffield. This 7- piece band combine world music like Afro-Beat and Salsa.
The first Dj announced who will be bringing epic vibes to our birthday launch is Jive Juice. Having run their own regular nights since 2012, these guys really know how to get the party going. Expect original 50s & 60s rockin’ r&b, jump blues, soul, ska & wild exotica all played on vinyl.

Yellow Arch’s 20th Birthday feat Macka B, Afriquoi, Reggae Roast & many more

For this special night, we’ve put together a line up which represents a classic Yellow Arch party, covering 3 rooms & multiple genres.
Macka B & The Roots Ragga Band an award-winning International Reggae artist and Roots Ragga Band will be coming to Yellow Arch to perform all of his hits, such as Rasta Rise Again, Step Up, Wha Me Eat, Everybody Loves Bob Marley and more from a music career spanning over 30 years.
Afriquoi draw on a range of African styles fused with futuristic UK dance music including on house, dubstep, soca, garage and glitch. For this special live DJ set, they’ll be combining African percussion with a combination of dance floor bangers to get you moving & grooving!
Reggae Roast are at the forefront of the UK reggae scene, keeping the classic reggae sound alive and kicking through their own-label essential releases and legendary live shows, and pushing.Their DJ sets draw on the best Reggae music from the past 50 years and always brings the party!

Yellow Arch 20th Birthday (part II) feat. Everly Pregnant Brothers & Papa Soul
For our third and final instalment of our birthday weekend we’ll be inviting Sheffield’s #1 ukulele cover band, Everly Pregnant Brothers for a special birthday set! Alongside them, 8 piece powerhouse, Papa Soul will be bringing their soulful, infectious grooves to kick the party off with a bang!!
We’re very pleased that the profits from this gig will be donated to the excellent Sheffield Music Hub for their Musical Stars Programme –

In:flux 4th Birthday with Plastican
For their 4th Birthday, In:flux have decided it was time to go big, and boy, they’ve got a wonderful celebration in store for you lot! Chris Reed, also known as Plastician (formerly Plasticman), is a DJ / Producer and owner of Terrorhythm Recordings with groundbreaking and forward thinking electronic music.

YA pres. The Undercover Hippy / The Sky Moguls / Rogue Siesta
Billy Salisbury aka The Undercover Hippy has been performing at festivals since 2008, working his way up from being a solo singer-songwriter playing in small marquee stages, to now having a full band of incredible musicians and playing main-stages at some of the Europe’s best festivals. They’ve been regulars at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown and many more.
Politically driven the band blend acoustic roots reggae folk-hop, with feel good vibes and a sly sense of humour. The live show is high energy, interactive, and always leaves the crowd begging for more.

After the stomping success of Vibrations last sell out party, they are back with a killer line up, set to raise the roof here at Yellow Arch Studios! Also on the night handcrafted Mexican food, fresh and authentic from Sheffield’s only pop up Mexican restaurant, Cantina Mexicana.

DJ/producer Joss Jinx is widely regarded as one of the UK’s top ranking Dubwise Jungle and Breaks producers and is a long-standing bass music contributor. His DJ sets have taken him across the globe with appearances at Outlook Croatia, Boomtown, Glastonbury and many more.
* Wayne Sealey & Chiv *
From humble beginnings as Nightmares On Wax tour DJ, Wayne Sealey has carved out a name for himself as one of the UK’s most innovative DJs. Teaming up with Vibrations’ own Chiv, their 4 deck set promises to be something a bit special, taking in influences from across the globe and bridging the genres from Hip Hop to Jungle and everything in between.

Taking on classics from the Soul and Funk vaults and twisting them into their own unique yet authentic creations, Papa Soul are a band who are always in the moment and always ‘in the pocket’, with stunning harmonies, a tight brass section and a big collective heart.

Join Langsett Dance Orchestra feat. special guests for a special big band swing dance night!
The traditional 18 piece big band will be playing big band swing, classic dance band repertoire and cheeky arrangements of modern classics…

NLR’s Interactive Halloween Party w. Marcelus Pittman
In true NLR Halloween style they’re throwing a 3 room full-bodied costume party with monstrous amounts of spooky decor, giant pumpkins, cauldrons, seemingly endless tunnels and perhaps even the occasional actor in disguise. For the musica they are flying Detroit techno don Marcellus Pittman over the Atlantic and have booked the hottest DJ duo on the underground scene at this moment – Chaos in the CBD. They are using all areas of our building and are opening the new warehouse room for that extra industrial feel. In room 3 they have invited girl & LGBT arts collective Fruit n Juice to bring the heat in room 3!
