What’s on at Yellow Arch December 2017


Hello December! You came around quick. It’s been an awesome year here at Yellow Arch and we’re super excited for what 2018 is going to bring. In true Yellow Arch style, we’re making sure we end 2017 on a high! To see the year out we have no other than legendary Yellow Arch raves, live gigs and a few extra treats: Christmas Beer Festival and a Blues & Soul night.

James Kirby ‘Foregine Land’ UK Tour

Acoustic singer-songwriter James Kirby is touring across Europe and UK/Ireland. His new album ‘Foreign Land’ was released earlier in 2017.
James has been performing his music around the world over the last 10 years, captivating audiences of all ages
and sizes with his beautiful and melodic songs and his unique style of guitar playing. He is not to be missed!

Mango Disco and La Rumba team up for the first time to launch Tropical Pressure Festival 2018 with an absolute huuuuuuuuuuuge party.. the biggest one we’ve ever organised.
Tropical Pressure Festival is a unique, intimate and family friendly festival, celebrating the rich cultures of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean on the cliffs of Cornwall!

Student Action for Refugees (STAR) presents Refugee Rhythms! They’re  back after the tremendous success of their last event to bring you a huge night of afro-beat, jazz, hip-hop, and latin sounds here at Yellow Arch Studios. This time round they have a range of the finest live music Sheffield and Leeds have to offer with Têtes de PoisForefathers and Necktr joining them with their high energy ensembles. We’ve even got the Sheffield University Samba Band jamming their Latin American style percussion with a special set in the courtyard for us!

The Daily Grind Blues & Soul Revue.

Featuring the Daily Grind House Band and specially invited guests playing blues, soul, R’n’B, Funk and Rock n Roll all night long, The Daily Grind promises to provide an uplifting antidote to the work and the weather.
The Daily Grind House Band is: Robin Hoare on guitar and vocals, Robin Baker on bass, Tom A Wright on drums and vocals, Mr Matt Crum – master of the keyboards and The Daily Grind Horns.
