Refugee Rhythms: Rogue Siesta, Dr Fat Lip + more!
Refugee Rhythms presents:
Dr Fat Lip
VORA and Esther Hyde
After 2 fantastic movements DJ nights, we are back with what we do best: join us for the return of Refugee Rhythms, our live music night that raises money for fantastic Sheffield-based charities that support local asylum seekers.
Rogue Siesta: Rogue Siesta are a Sheffield based group of musician friends who’ve pooled their combined Reggae, Indie, Rock, Blues, Punk, and Ska influences, resulting in an unmissible sound which you can’t help but dance to!
Dr Fat Lip: Featuring an all star 7 piece line up, Dr Fat Lip embraces the same tradition of earthy grooves and soaring solos. With a fiery three-piece brass section and rhythms to get down to, tight arrangements and blazing improvisation meld to ensure the party never stops.
7 HILL are a Sheffield based collective that will be running you through a varied range of groovers to help close out the night.
As ever, all profit from the night will be going to Sheffield-based charities that form an essential part of the Asylum Seeker and Refugee support network within the city – please do check out their work below and get in touch with either us or them if you’d like to find out more or get involved.
Conversation Club & Women’s Conversation Club:
