About the Charity

You Don’t Know Jack was set up in memory of Jack Ritchie, a young Sheffield man who took his own life last year, aged just 24, as a direct result of a gambling addiction.

You Don’t Know Jack are campaigning to reduce all harms caused by gambling by:

-Raising awareness amongst gamblers, their families and friends, and health professionals of just how dangerous gambling can be.

-Campaigning to reduce gambling related harm through greater regulation of the gambling industry.

-Campaigning for more and better treatment for gamblers, integrated with the NHS, and support for families and friends.

Members of You Don’t Know Jack will be there on the day – available to answer any questions you may have… and give you the opportunity to buy a very fine You Don’t Know Jack (Gambling with Lives) t-shirt.
