Following the success of our previous Cafe Sessions, we are excited to announce we are coming back for round 5!

Once a month we’ll invite a handful of Sheffield’s finest musicians for an intimate acoustic showcase. Taking place in our Moroccan style café bar, the music will be accompanied by a fresh drinks menu, including new cocktails, gins and craft beers.

Heavy Lids – Stripped back acoustic versions of their signature dream-pop sound. Taking influence from the Cocteau Twins’ ethereal vocals and local legend, Richard Hawley they’ve been described as one the most exciting new prospects emerging from the Sheffield music scene.

Zander Sharp – Londoner and word-nerd Zander Sharp started songwriting young, winning the Holloway Arts Festival’s songwriting award as a spotty 16 year old. He moved to Oxford and self-released an EP, featuring members of the band Stornoway, off the back of which he started to play local festivals and support slots at the oxford o2. Now signed to Oxford label Upcycled Sounds, Zander is releasing a second EP in September following a UK tour.

Bongo and the Soul Jar – Bongo Bert on the acoustic guitar!! Former percussionist from Reverend and the Makers and Front man of Bongo and the Soul Jar playing upside down/back to front guitar for your listening pleasure!!
