Yellow Arch has a recording studio fully equipped to do everything from CD releases to demos, pre-production, promos, voice-overs, and audio editing, for both the analogue and digital worlds. It boasts the best recording studio set-up in Sheffield (bar two at double/triple the cost) both for sound equipment / quality and for its great live and control rooms.
The full spec. can be seen here but in short it has an Amek Angela 36ch. desk, ADAT, Mac, all the outboard you could wish for , huge live room, vocal/isolation booths, private lounge areas, kitchen and loads of classic instruments and amps at your disposal. The studio can be hired for (+VAT) £300 per day or £30/hour for quick jobs (prices include professional engineer, CDs etc.). In its short history it has played host to the likes of Gomez, Long pigs, Gay Dad, Jarvis Cocker-Pulp, Paul Carrack, Sarah Jay (Massive Attack), Richard Hawley, Hoggboy, Chris Thomas and more.
Yellow Arch recording studios boast generous facilities in a cool red-bricked, wooden beamed, spacious building. Yellow Arch is especially suited to the development of songwriters with an array of Sheffield's finest session musicians at its fingertips. All this comes at very competitive rates.
